Sponsor an Acre. One Acre Can Change Lives

Every year, generous local farmers donate their land, time, equipment, and expertise to plant and harvest crops for the Grow Hope Markdale Project. When you sponsor an acre, your gift helps cover the costs of growing that crop and supports a unique partnership of faith, farming, and compassion that has been making a difference for nearly 30 years.

Once the crop is harvested and sold, the proceeds are directed through Nazarene Compassionate Ministries Canada and Canadian Foodgrains Bank to support emergency food assistance and long-term food security initiatives in vulnerable communities around the world.

One of the unique strengths of the Grow Hope Markdale Project is that your gift has the potential to be multiplied, extending its impact even further through eligible Canadian Foodgrains Bank programming and Government of Canada matching opportunities. Matching is not guaranteed and depends on the type of project or humanitarian response being supported, as well as available funding programs.

You don't have to sponsor an entire acre to make a difference: Every Gift Makes a Difference.

$400 sponsors one full acre
$200 sponsors half an acre
$100 sponsors one-quarter of an acre
$40 sponsors one-tenth of an acre

Every donation—no matter the size—joins with others to sponsor additional acres and bring hope to families facing hunger.
